I had the pleasure of working at BetrBeta as a Web Developer from July 2023 to October 2023. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work on exciting projects that allowed me to expand my skillset and make a meaningful impact. I primarily used React, TypeScript, Chakra UI, and Tailwind CSS to develop end user components for the company's web applications and landing pages, all built on the Next.js framework. I want to express how truly thankful I am for this experience and the lessons I've learned. Nsemeke, my manager, was an absolute gem. She not only mentored me but also supported my professional growth, soft and hard skills development, and most importantly to be a great team player, she was also so accommodating when we needed to make a schedule changes, and was showing a lot of appreciation for my work. My experience working at Betr Beta as a JavaScript developer has been outstanding. I was made to feel quite welcome right away and was surrounded by a friendly, cooperative work atmosphere. I worked as an Android developer. Here I work in a team to build the Software Update Priorities app. I easily adapt to the work system here, the agile method applied in this company is very good. I learned a lot of things here, especially using Jetpack compose and Firebase Cloud Messaging. This internship gave me a lot of useful knowledge and experience.
